Expectations of our Flaggers

We expect our flaggers to show up on time, dressed in appropriate attire, and with the proper PPE(persona1 protective equipment) and stop/slow paddle. They should be prepared to work on the road at start time. Each flagger should be prepared to work on their job in a safe, reliable manner. Each flagger is expected to work as long as you need them , whether one hour or 12 hours in one day. Flaggers should request a replacement or reassignment from our office if they are unable to fulfill your time obligation. Flaggers are expected to know who on the site can give relief breaks when needed.

We expect our flaggers to politely address the Crew Leader/Foreman/Field Supervisor on any safety concerns regarding the job site that could adversely affect their safety or the crew. If the flagger still feels the job site is unsafe, they are instructed to call our office. The safety concerns then will be addressed by the appropriate Supervisor.
